Nodularizer

Nodularizer is an additive widely utilized in the foundry industry, primarily aimed at promoting the spherical crystallization of graphite in cast iron, thereby enhancing the distribution and efficiency of graphitization. The main chemical components of nodularizers include magnesium, rare earth elements, silicon, calcium, barium, and iron. Nodularizers containing rare earth elements and magnesium play a crucial role in ductile iron, significantly improving nodularization effects and preventing distortions in nodular graphite within thick-walled castings. There are currently several mainstream types of nodularizers, including ferro silicon magnesium based, rare earth magnesium silicon based, calcium based, pure magnesium, and rare earth nodularizers.
